Designer/Front-end Developer

We’re on the look out for an O.C.D. style obsessed designer/front-end developer to join our little company.

This job is on a per-project basis, and is paid on a per-project basis leaving you free to have a full-time job on the side if you wish. That being said, we’re looking for someone who will be dedicated to our causes and projects. We’re not looking for contracted companies, or outsourced companies. You will work for us, Focus Web Media (your cards will say so).

No Post-Secondary training/diploma required if you can “put your money where your mouth is” with some great past work.

We need you to have:

• The ability to come up with and manage creative concepts and ideas.
• The time management skills to hit every due-date and deadline, every time.
• The chops to be able to create amazing apps and sites from scratch, with little supervision.
• Experience with PHP, SQL, Javascript or JQuery a giant plus, but Adobe apps necessary.
• Know how to build for Joomla!, Drupal, and/or WordPress efficiently.
• Time Monday and Friday during the day for meetings and catch-ups.

Personal and Professional Attributes:

• Must have an obsession with amazing designs and new trends.
• Must have some real world experience, or an incredible portfolio.
• Must know how to design for content, and have a pension for “information architecture” (whatever that is) and extreme attention to detail.
